Fishing ... Lake, River …. or Both.
Rainbow, Kokanee, Char (lake trout), Sockeye Salmon,
and more

You will not be disappointed!

Canada’s largest Sockeye Salmon spawning channel is a short distance away and is very interesting. Masses of fish spawning and the bald eagles that await their meal for those that don’t make it, make this a must see in August, September and October.

Relaxing

Wildlife and Wilderness

Driving in from Topley you are likely to see both bears and moose, and other wildlife as well.  Relaxing is easy in this quiet little village.  Our fire pit burns daily as we sit around with our friends enjoying the beautiful scenery.  Granisle Tourist Information Centre has a museum with an excellent display of the areas history.  Drive carefully – there are frequently moose on the road … the bears generally know enough to stay at the side of the road, but they are plentiful.

The beautiful Fulton River scene below, was taken from the fish jumping site 10 km south of Granisle.
The masses of fish jumping, and the bald eagles that await their meal for those that don't make it.
A must see in August, September and October.
